If you or your loved one is experiencing an eating disorder, there is a number of other national organisations that provide education, support services, evidence-based information and other great resources.
The Butterfly Foundation
The National Charity for all Australians impacted by eating disorders and body image issues, offering a range of services including support groups and their national helpline.
You can call the Butterfly National Helpline 7 days a week, 8am-midnight on 1800 33 4673 for free and confidential support from a team of specialist counsellors.

National Eating Disorders Collaboration (NEDC)
An initiative of the Australian Government dedicated to developing and implementing a nationally consistent, evidence-based system of care for the prevention and treatment of eating disorders.

Eating Disorders Families Australia
A national not-for-profit run by carers with lived experience, connecting, supporting and educating families and carers of people with eating disorders.
You can call 03 9125 5670 to book a free counselling session as a family member or carer of someone with an eating disorder or join an online Carer Support Group here.

The national institute for research and clinical excellence in eating disorders. If you think you might be struggling with an eating disorder, you can take the Eating Disorders Examination Questionnaire (EDE-Q) here.
